making, finally this unique union of two ancient sciences
has come to the UK, maintaining it’s roots in the
east yet specially formulated for the lifestyles of the
west.
In 2006 the and embraced QiYoga, wanting to be part of this fabulous new style of yoga. QiYoga classes will be held at their venues throughout 2007! Mind body Spirit Festivals have asked QiYoga and Dance QiYoga to perform at their festival: to be one of their main events!!!
Now you too can be part of QiYoga! We offer 13 different styles of classes at a number of venues throughout London and offer
- Private small group classes
- Partner yoga
- 1-on-1 classes
- QiYoga parties of 3 or more!
To best understand this new phenomenon called QiYoga,
it is essential to stipulate its individual components:
Hatha Yoga and QiGong.
These two sciences share the same principles but employ
slightly different practices. Therefore, by taking the
most powerful components of each and blending them into
one seemed like the most natural evolution necessary for
the people of the 21st century who want the best of both
worlds.
Both Hatha Yoga and QiGong are aspects of ancient medicines
designed as self healing arts that combine physical postures
and breathing techniques with meditation. As healing is
their main aim, visualisations are employed to integrate
the mind and the body of its practitioners. Records of
Hatha Yoga date back to 2nd century in India and QiGong
dates back more than 3,300 years in China. Both practices
are professed to:
| • |
Treat diseases |
| • |
Prevent illnesses |
| • |
Reduces stress |
| • |
Creates a balance within the body and its subtle
energy fields |
| • |
Effectively connects the mind, the body and
the soul |
| • |
Bring about peace |
| • |
Bring about inner happiness |
The Sanskrit word “Hatha” is the combination
of two words: Ha meaning sun and tha meaning moon. This
sun/moon combination represents the yin and yang, the
masculine and the feminine, the positive and the negative:
Overall it represents the balanced whole. Yoga in sanskrit
means union Qi (Energy) Gong (Skill) equates to the skill
of attracting vital life force energy into the body. In
the West, Hatha Yoga has more emphasis on the physical
asanas (postures) whereas QiGong is more focused on the
meditations and body tapping to stimulate qi (energy)
throughout the body.
QiYoga creatively fuses the two. Taught in English, all
practitioners of QiYoga will be exposed to all ancient
forms of Hatha Yoga and QiGong- even the ancient language
terms shall be passed onto the practitioners.
QiYoga is guaranteed to enhance your power on all levels
by working your body on all levels. By focusing on strengthening
the immune system, massaging the inner organs, stimulating
the flow of life force (referred to as prana or qi) practitioners
of QiYoga will feel refreshed, revitalised and at peace
with oneself.

This unique and beautifully crafted style of yoga has
been created by Yogini Fiona Kaczmarczyk. With a triple
major degree in: Political Science, Japanese and Asian
Studies, Fiona has always had a strong affiliation in
with the Orient. It was during her fourth trip to Japan
(after receiving scholarships to study there) that she
met and trained privately on a 1-to-1 basis under LA based
yogini of more than 15 years; Donya Jenicke. Donya solidified
the foundations of Fiona’s life changing commitment
to yoga. Once she had completed the five year training
pre-requisite of FINY (Friends in Yoga: affiliated with
the British Wheel of Yoga and run by Cherry Ray in Australia,)
she began teaching in Perth, Australia full time in 2003.
Fiona brought her yoga to the UK in March 2004 and has
an extensive portfolio of private clients throughout London.
What makes Fiona exceptional is her outlook and quest
to bring happiness to people via educating them with tools
to self-create wellbeing. Fiona has spent many years being
fascinated by, deliberating over and intrigued as to how
to utilize the secrets of the universe. Through extensive
research Fiona has discovered that there are many universal
secrets encoded in ancient manuscripts outlining how to
maximize health and wellbeing and it was through this
study that Fiona began the practice of Hatha Yoga and
Qi Gong. In 2004 Fiona studied Dr Il Chi Lee’s style
of Qi Gong for one year and it was the daily practice
of these two ancient forms of health science that Fiona
was able to feel and experience optimum health and happiness
and she wanted to share this with as many people as possible
and so began the launch of Qiyoga.org in 2006!

This will fundamentally change your life!
It will give you the tools to aspire to your physical
and spiritual desires of wellbeing
