Continual Professional Development (CPD)

CPD Training

Once you have graduated as a QiYoga® instructor you will need to maintain your high level of skills taught on the course.  This means you will need:

 

  1. To be actively teaching a minimum of 8 classes a year (these classes are to be notified on the QiYoga® website
  2. To update your certificate every year.  To do so you will need to accrue '25' points and pass a practical exam

 

How to Accrue '25 Points' for CPD

  • You may attend QiYoga® workshops whereby each hour is worth '2 points.'  You are entitled to a 10% discount on all workshops
  • You may be an examiner for undergraduate teacher trainers whereby each class + noted feedback is worth '4 points'
  • Publish on the QiYoga® website and yoga publications your research (including case studies) on the benefits of QiYoga® e.g. for runners, for cricketers, for M.E. or M.S. sufferers etc. Worth 12 points per finished piece

 

Check-list for Updating Your Certificate Annually

  1. Taught a minimum of 8 classes within the last 12 months
  2. Accrued a minimum of 25 points
  3. Passed your practical assessment
  4. Paid your £75.00 renewal fee

 

This ensures QiYoga® teachers maintain the highest level of competency

 


Further Training

Once you have reached "Specialist" Level Proficiency you can further your training by taking additional modules in one or more of the following specialist areas:

 

  • QiYoga®: For Kids
  • QiYoga®: Dance Yoga
  • QiYoga®: For Seniors

 

These modules are comprised of 4 x six hour sessions (or one month for those doing the correspondence course)
